FS in Round Rock, TX! Called an spoke too Heather, explained that the FS in Leander, Tx was closed and I was looking to schedule an appointment for colour and highlights. She was happy too schedule the appointment for 1p. I live in Lago Vista, hence the primary reason for discussing my situation with Heather, as too not drive the distant if they couldn't accommodate for my services desired. I scheduled the appointment, thanked her and said I'd see her soon. I arrived for my appointment 10 minutes early. I signed in and sat down. Shortly after signing in, one of the stylist asked if I needed a haircut? I said, No I have an appointment with Heather, for colour & highlights. She said, I'm Heather and I'll be with you in a couple minutes. I said, OK, I've misplaced my cell phone, I'm going too go back too my car too see if I left it in there. She said, of course no rush. I was gone no more than 3-4 minutes. I took my seat and began too wait. 45/50 minutes later she finally calls me back too her chair. We discussed what colour would be best & a few highlights. She said, she'd go mix up my colours and be right back. Then, another stylist came over with a waiver for me too sign. I inquired what the reasoning behind the waiver??? She said, Heather can explain it to you. Shortly Heather returned seeming excited and giddie that she had my colour all mixed up....

We discussed the waiver, I mentioned I'd NEVER signed such a waiver. She said, Well everyone with colour, highlights, & perms, MUST sign it, which I very reluctantly signed. Then.... she said, I'm only going too do and all over colour and no highlights!!!! I'm thinking WHAT? Again I inquired as too WHY she made this discussion? She said, your hair is extremely damaged and dry, it will only damage your hair more. You must use cheap hair products!! OMG!!! That was it, I was so incredible pist. I said, you are so wrong, I use the California Smooth shampoo & creme rinse. I said, that is NOT cheap hair products!!! At this point, I raised my hands and said, I have changed my mind, I do not want you to do my hair!!!

I said, you just made a huge, huge, mistake!! First you made me wait 45/50 minutes, when I had an appointment scheduled with you for 1p, then you had me sign some waiver removing ALL liability from you, then if that wasn't enough you told me you were only going to do an all over colour as apposed to what I requested, colour & highlights!!!! AND told me my hair was extremely damaged and dry from cheap hair products, which was a bold face LYE!!!! I would NEVER go back to this FS, even if it was the only salon in town. And too boot, I drove over 20 miles for this horrible service!!!! I know if this was MY salon, Heather would be fired!!!

She doesn't have a clue, couldn't buy a clue! You don't schedule an appointment with someone and leave them waiting 45/50 minutes, then have them sign a waiver because you're not confident in your own abilities, and not provide the services requested, then totally lie and say the client has extremely damaged hair from using cheap products, those products cost $50, I don't know about you but $50 isn't cheap in my book. She obviously did not want my business. Too bad for her, I am a 20% tipper! You screwed up!!!!

I'd be mad too, just FYI most franchise salons require a liability release before chemical services. Almost all private ones do as well especially if the hair is damaged prior to the visit.
