I also have had a HORRIBLE experience at Fantastic Sams. I went in with pictures showing the stylist exactly what I was wanting.

Light blonde highlights. When done I was completely gray...roots and all! I was told that if I used "purple" shampoo it would tone out. I paid $143 for this service?!

When I got home the color looked even was gray, white, and blue. I called the salon and a manager was going to call me back. I never heard anything, I went two days later to have it fixed by a reputable stylist. I continued to call and asked for manager and was told she'd call me back.

My fourth attempt the receptionist told me there was nothing they could do.

So yes, I'd have to agree that Fantastic Sams is out there to rip people off. I'm making a formal complaint with my state!

Preferred solution: Full refund.
